Enugu Rangers marksman Osaguona Ighodaro has rubbished rumours circulating in the local and international media that claimed he has agreed in principle to join Malaysian Super League club Kelantan at the end of the domestic championship.
The 24 - year - old is angry with the reports as he is still tied to the Flying Antelopes, but he has admitted that he would only join a team that meets his financial demands.
“No, I have not signed for Kelentan. I and my agent have not held any discussion with a Malaysian club. I have not heard about that club before, and no contact has been made.
“But I will join a new team if the money is right and they agree with Rangers, ” said Osaguona Ighodaro to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Enugu Rangers supremo, Paul Chibuzor echoed the words of one of his favourite pupils, saying : “I am the GM, I can tell you that there is nothing like that. He has not joined Kelentan.”
The attacker has two international caps for Nigeria, all of them coming in the African Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures.
Osaguona Ighodaro has scored 16 goals in the topflight so far this season.
