ALL is not well in the Terengganu FA.
The leadership of its president, Datuk Che Mat Jusoh, is still being questioned by association members despite him relinquishing his position as team manager just over two months ago.
The same can be said of deputy president Shaikh Ahmad Tajuddin Shaikh Yusof who had also decided to follow the president's footsteps and resigned from his post as assistant team manager.
But that does not stop some affiliate members from pushing further for the duo's resignations from the state association, said Hulu Terengganu District FA president Abdullah Sulong.
Abdullah said the FA's congress on Saturday may just be the platform for disgruntled members to push for change.
"I do not know for certain what is going to happen on Saturday but I would not be surprised at all if somebody will push forward a motion for the president and deputy president to step down.
"What I know is that there are quite a number of unhappy members out there and they may be brave enough to challenge the current leadership of the state football governing body," he said.
Abdullah said it will be a different story if it is an election year as the delegates will have a chance to pick and choose new office bearers.
"But the election is still a year away and all the unhappy delegates can do this time is submit a motion only.
"Perhaps they will get enough support from other delegates but it does not look good at the moment as Kemaman and Marang delegates have been barred from attending the congress," he said.
Kemaman FA president Datuk Wan Ahmad Nizam Wan Abdul Hamid said he was surprised to find out that his district association was not invited to send its delegates to the congress.
"By right, we should be able to attend the congress as we are one of the state Fa affiliates but we have yet to receive an invitation.
"I did talk to Zul (Terengganu FA vice president Zulkifli Ali) about this earlier and he promised to look into the matter," he said.
But Terengganu FA general secretary Abdullah Salleh said Kemaman FA would not be able to join the congress as its affiliation application was yet to be endorsed.
"We are going to do just that in this coming congress and in that case, Kemaman will only be eligible to join next year's congress.
"Marang FA did not even submit their affiliation application and there is not much we can do for them at this time," he said.
